<div id="bodytxt"><p class="text">Sarah Haufrect lives and writes in Los Angeles where she directs communications for a private philanthropist. She is a former managing editor of <i>Pasadena Magazine</i> and was the founder and editor-in-chief of the long defunct online magazine <i>TWIXT</i>. Her writing has appeared in <i>Salon.com</i>, the <i>Berkeley Poetry Review</i> and <i>PEN Oakland Out Loud</i> anthology series among others. She graduated from UC Berkeley where she was a managing editor of the <i>Berkeley Fiction Review</i> and director of Democratic Education at Cal (DeCal).</p>
